Clark and Company perform music to
please all ages from foot-stompin’ fiddle tunes to rhythm and blues and
dance favorites. Clark and Company is known as the most popular wedding
band on the Gulf Coast. They have been voted the favorite group in the
Seville Square Concerts in the Park Series for 14 years running. They are available for private parties and wedding

Cecil Clark’s career in music began with his
playing electric bass in area rock bands, including
the
Phatons and
Zig Zag. He earned a degree in string bass and music education at
the University of West Florida and currently teaches strings in public
schools. He founded and conducts the award-winning Escambia
County Youth Orchestra and recently
started
Switched on Baroque,
an amplified chamber group in period
costumes.
Jonathan Clark is a very
versatile musician with wide ranging talents on violin, viola, and
electric bass. He received his degree in Music Education from the
University of West Florida. He is a member of the Pensacola Symphony, Silverwood, a
very talented quartet from Mobile, Alabama, and is the "go to" bassist for
the Pensacola Children's Chorus and numerous musical productions. He is an
orchestra teacher in the Escambia County School System, and Associate
Conductor of the Beethoven Symphonic Orchestra. He has the very highly
acclaimed Clark and Company Strings Studio where more than 20 young string
students take weekly lessons. In addition to the instructional studio,
Jonathan has a fully digital recording studio and has produced numerous CD
recordings for area groups including Clark & Company and Silverwood. He is
also a member of the musical staff of Gulf Breeze Methodist Church, and a member of their Journeysong
praise band.
Virginia Clark
is also a
member of the Escambia County Schools string team and conductor of the
Junior Youth Orchestra. Virginia has a degree in Music Education from the
University of West Florida. As well as being a vocalist in Clark & Company,
Virginia is also a very talented cellist with a studio of young students
who receive weekly lessons at the Clark & Company Strings Studio. She,
along with Jonathan, provides string ensembles for wedding ceremonies,
rehearsal dinners, and dinner parties.
Caroline Norman a local choreographer and musical
theater talent, has been the lead role in numerous musical
productions, including South Pacific, Jekyll and Hyde, Chicago, Funny Girl, and was a leading member of the
Pensacola Children's Chorus. Caroline has studied at the Boston Conservatory
of Music and is currently on the staff at the Pensacola Little Theatre. Her talents include dance, theatre and voice.
Caroline currently teaches dance and choreographs theater productions.
Christina Clark
Frierdich began studying violin with Anna Tringas
when she was eight years old. In 1987, as a senior at Woodham High, she
was named Outstanding Senior Girl. That same year, she was chosen Escambia County Junior
Miss and became first runner-up in the state, winning the overall
creative and performing arts as well as the top ten scholastic award.
While attending Florida State University on a violin scholarship, she won
the Miss FSU title
and competed in the Miss Florida pageant, winning the talent competition.
She has performed with the Pensacola Symphony and at Fiesta Texas in San
Antonio. Christina makes guest appearances with Clark & Company.
